Hi Tut,
The Havas ad brings back old memories. When François Mitterand ran for President in 1981 he hired Jacques Séguéla, author of "Don't Tell my Mother I Work for an Ad Agency, She Thinks I'm a Pianist in a Whore House" (who actually had a doctorat in pharmacy, but had created an ad agency that would become fuse with Havas) to run his election campagne. Séguéla came up with the slogans like"Quiet Strenght", then "Generation Mitterand" (based on Generation Pepsi). In France we speak about being "more royalist than the king". In the case of Séguéla, we could maybe ask how to be "more American than the Americans"? Joyeuse Pâques.
